Control your robots in many ways: Play back standard movements, teach it manually what to do, remotely control it via our App or program custom movements through the Arduino platform.
Build your robot and get started
Each module already knows a pre-defined movement like grabbing, turning or twisting. Once you connect the modules to the Powerbrain, you can turn it on and press Play to see the standard movements.
Turn the Powerbrain on by pressing Play
Press Play again: Now your robot starts moving
Pressing (+) and (–) you control the speed of the movement
Teach your robot by recording and playing
You can teach your robot how to move by showing it movements with your hands: Our modules, like the Twister and Pivot, are able to learn new movements.
Build your robot, pick it up and press Record
Move the modules the way you want them to move later on
Hit Play: Now the robot repeats what you have just taught it
Remotely control through the App
You can remotely control your robot with your smartphone or tablet using our Tinkerbots App. Download it for iOS and Andoid control your robot through Bluetooth.
Launch the App and follow the instructions
Select the robot model you wish to control

Let the sensors control
Your robot is intelligent and knows how to identify obstacles and light sources through the infrared (IR) distance sensor and the light sensor:
Connect the sensors to your robot while building it
Link them to the motion modules using the App
Now the sensors guide the robot giving out signals
Programming in Arduino
For more advanced users: You can also program your robots yourself! The microcontroller inside the Powerbrain is compatible with Arduino so that you can program the models using C programming language. More info can be found here
